This performance cam is designed for non-turbo street Ford Ranger and Mustangs. RPM range 2000-6000rpm. Noticeable "chop" or "lope" at idle. Expect noticeable power gains in the midrange and top end rpm range. This is a direct swap for 1989-2001 models (no machining required or head removal) with the exception of 1994 and older models which require our special wide oil groove HLA's (aka lifters). May require tuning for maximum gains, however it will run on stock ECU and injectors. We have offered this cam for years as a custom only grind and have had excellent customer feedback so we are now offering it as a regular stocking camshaft to our line up. These are reduced base circle cams and will require shimming of the HLA's for proper operation. Shim kit and detailed instructions are included with every cam.
