The stage 3 cam is designed for those seeking maximum power output from a hydraulic profile cam, who are not concerned with a smooth idle, high engine vacuum or pre-boost low rpm power. Geared for ultra "hot street" cars occasionally street driven or the 1/4 mile racer, these cams feature a rough idle and vacuum readings typically are in the 10" range with a good sealing engine. Expect HUGE top end power increases up to 90hp over factory cams and this is the cam of choice for 500+whp power goals using hydraulic lash adjusters. Machine work to the valve guide bosses required with .550" tip length or factory multi groove valves. No machine work required when using our valve/spring/retainer kit.  We recommend our beehive valve spring kit for this cam with closed seat pressures of 150#.  RPM range 3700-7200+rpm
